The "APP" for LEAGUE ATHLETICS

RECOMMENDED!
For all TEAMs, and Coaches/Managers, during the season, after registration and teams are formed, this is the easiest way to double check your Team's calendar, and recent bulletins without having to navigate the full website.  Best on-the-go way for Coaches to email and text their Team's too.  Just like having a "TEAM" website or APP.

For Administrators who need more on the website, or for people needing the Organization's "program" pages, registration features etc:
The Mobile site has an "app" approach, but will let you go to the full website.
1.  “APP” approach to Website–  Simple.  Driven by 4 buttons at top of screen. “Home,”  “Team”  “More”  and “Log in” 
2.  Links to all locations on the website, e.g., registrations, other key pages. 
3.  Synchs the Team’s calendar to your Handheld Calendar  (e.g., Google)  Don’t have to rekey information.  Automatic updates.  Info all in one place for you.
•Expanded View of Calendar Entry gives all Event detail information.  (Location, event description, links to required registrations, etc.)
•Event “location” links to google maps right from your calendar.
4.  Quick lookup for directions by “Facilities” name  list right on home page that feeds right into Google Maps
5.   All graphics/pictures work and display.
6.   Administrators (Coaches, officers) can email and text right from the handheld to entire group, or individuals.   They can also add or edit any existing calendar items and notify members of changes.
 
CON  versus the “App”:  The “App” retains the most recent messages sent to you under “Messages.”  for example an email sent from Coach that wasn’t posted on the team’s page.   (But these should be in your email, text messages already.)
 
DIRECTIONS BELOW to start MOBILE SITE (click):
Your password is the SAME password you use when logging into the full website.   Usually set-up by Mom/Dad beginning with youth football registration.  If you’ve forgotten your password, or need a new one, enter your personal email address that should be in your profile and League Athletics will assist.
Note:  All instructions below are for WHS Trojans.  The Youth Program should select the appropriate "WTYFC - Youth" Team etc.
 
SET-UP ICON ON HANDHELD (Figure 1):
#1 On handheld (iPad/iPhone etc.), go to www.Trojansfootball.org.
#2 To create “icon” for to be on Home Screen for quick access, at the bottom of the screen, “click “Share.”
#3 Click “Add to Home Screen” on popup (figure 1b)
#4 Confirm the addition of the Trojan Icon on your phone = click “Add”

SET DEFAULT TEAM, e.g. “WHS TROJAN FOOTBALL”  
#1  Select “Teams”.  From Drop down, select “Select a Team.” (figure 2)
#2  Season is “2015.”  Click on “WHS Trojan Football” organization (grey box) (Figure 2a)
#3  Select “WESTON TROJANS FOOTBALL” (figure 2a)  Next screen is the “WHS Trojan Football” team’s website home page.  Scroll down to read team news.  (figure 2b). 
From “Team,” (Figure 2c) view “Bulletins,” “Contacts,” & “Schedule” and names on “Roster” without being “logged in.”   (Log in instructions are below.)
(To the Right of "Teams" on the top toolbar, is "More"  Click on "More" and you can select either the "High School (WHS)" or the "YOUTH (WTYFC)" organization home pages.  Also provided are the left toolbars from the website.
 
SYNCH TEAM CALENDAR TO HANDHELD CALENDAR!
BENEFIT:  Your one Handheld Calendar for all information.
BENEFIT:  Event detail information there at touch of finger (expanded view.)
BENEFIT:  Automatic mapping when click on “Location” in the calendar entry.
#1  After you’ve selected the WHS Trojans Football as your team,
#2  Select “Schedule” from Team’s drop down box (figure 3)
#3  Beneath the title, click on “Schedule” icon (figure 3a)
#4  At the popup screen, select “Subscribe” (figure 3b)
#5  From your handheld, select “Weston Trojans Events” as a “Calendar.”  (figure 3c)
#6  Check your calendar (try July-Nov.  All Lifts, Practices & Games should show.)
 
 
 
 
#1 From the “Home” icon drop down menu, select “Facilities” (figure 5)
#2 Select your Destination from the “Field List,” (figure 5a )  Address will display with link to Google Maps. (figure 5b)
 
 
LOG IN (will give you all the Administrative Rights you have on Website.)
#1  Select “Log In”
#2  Enter Email Address and Password for your website Account, and “Sign In”
          (System remembers field contents, but you may have to “sign in,” each visit)
#3  Coaches and managers can email and text from this. (Figure 6b)
 
Forgotten Your Password?  Enter your EMAIL ONLY and your password will be emailed to that address.
